We are monitoring the weather, and we encourage everyone to exercise discretion about traveling.
We are encouraging people to sign up to receive text messages about important announcements. This is beneficial because it can help us spread a message quickly. For example, we could contact people to let them know if we canceled church services due to inclement weather. https://www.remind.com/join/judsonbapt
We had a blast at our annual Easter egg hunt!
Don't forget! The egg hunt is today!

Homecoming this Sunday, July 29 at 10:30
One year ago today, our lives changed in a dramatic way. After a total loss house fire, we definitely see the world a different way. When I was a kid, my family also went through a house fire. Now as an adult having lost a second home to fire, I am greatly humbled and incredibly blessed. As I write this, I am walking around the property where my house once stood. I can see where my girls would swing on the horse swing hanging from a tree. I’ve stood where my front porch steps were once. We held a number of birthday parties on this slab on concrete where our carport once stood. In fact, we celebrated Claire’s 4th birthday the day before by throwing a Paw Patrol party! I could go on and on about the memories and emotions that swirl in my mind now, but you get the point. I read once that history never changes, but it can change you. Oh how true! Our house fire was one year ago today, but we are not the same people that we were then. There is no earthly possession more valuable than family and faith! I don’t know if things will ever be back to “normal” as people often ask, and in some ways, I hope they don’t. I’ve learned a lot. Through it all, God is good. I wish we could adequately thank all those who helped us in our time of need, but the generosity that was shown toward us is still truly overwhelming. Please accept a humble and heart-felt “Thank you!” Finally, let me encourage you that no matter the trials you are facing God can always make a way. He can create beauty from ashes. Look to Jesus Christ in the midst of your trial by fire. People often quote Philippians 4:13 that talks about doing anything through Christ who strengthens us. If you put that verse into context, Paul (as he writes from Prison) is talking about being content! Contentment apart from Christ will always prove elusive at best. God bless you! -Brett Chancery
Be careful if you are out and about tonight. The ditch beside the church is full with a strong current washing through.
